How to Make Vegan Whipped Cream (With Coconut Cream)

Whipped cream is a perfect addition to so many sweet treats and this homemade recipe is so quick and easy it's a definite staple in my kitchen.
You can top off your favorite pie or breakfast dish (I love adding it to french toast - you can check out my french toast recipe) or you can add some fresh fruit and enjoy as a stand-alone dessert.
This recipe's star ingredient is coconut cream and I have to say that although it does have a coconut taste - adding powdered sugar helps mask the coconut flavor quite a bit, making it much milder. So even if you aren't' the biggest coconut fan this recipe is still definitely worth a try. You can add in more powdered sugar to sweeten up your whipped cream even more
Have fun and ENJOY! You've got this!
Vegan Whipped Cream
Serves: 4 to 6 | Prep: 5 mins | Ready: 5 Mins
Ingredients:
Coconut Cream (1 - 2 cans)
Powdered Sugar (1 tbsp)
Directions:
Chill your can of coconut cream in the fridge for several hours - or until cold.
With a spoon, scrape out the coconut cream from the top of the liquid in the can - save the liquid to use if your cream ends up being too thick.
Whisk the coconut cream until it slightly breaks down and begins to develop a creamy texture - and there are no lumps. If your whipped cream seems too thick - add in some of the coconut water leftover from the can to thin it out.
Add in the powdered sugar and whisk together. Add additional to taste.
Serve and enjoy!
